twenty-six

Since my last post, I have had my birthday and I am now twenty six.

I am training to be a nurse, hardly finding time to be creative and feeling more and more lost, like I’ve made the wrong choice.

My dream job is to be a community nurse, I’ve wanted to do it for years, however the course and nursing is the hardest thing I’ve tried to do and understand. It’s the loneliest I’ve ever felt and the most far removed from myself, I’ve ever felt.

What do you do?

My question is, are there any other creatives trying to be nurses or are nurses out there?

What do you do and is it worth it in the end?

I’m constantly questioning whether to push through and try to achieve my dream job or accept do I just too hard?

I am excited to see what’s next and I do feel optimistic, although adulting is hard and I am a little cautious hence why I put these questions to you, to find some fellow people in the same boat.

Barmouth, 2023

There are perks of being a student still though.

I do enjoy every inch of my annual leave. I want to make the most of every minute so if the chance comes up, off I go.

My next post will be all about where I went last week, Barmouth.
