Etsy Manchester Art Market
Last weekend I took part in the Etsy MCR christmas market.
It was held at Salford Museum and Art Gallery and it was a very festive event, hosted in a lovely exhibition space.
It was great to share my work in an art gallery too. It was a lovely event and I did enjoy having a mooch around the gallery and museum.
Sometimes these markets aren’t the most fruitful, but this is to be expected when you sign up to them. You look at your market season as a whole and judge whether it was worth it. To me I just enjoy sharing my artwork with the public and it gives me something to work for throughout the year. I try to set a theme ready to share at the markets. I met some lovely creatives and passersby, who stopped to say hello, many of you complimented my work which was very heartwarming. Market season is always worth it, for this. Also, It’s more valuable to me now more than ever, as I pursue nursing it often feels like I saying goodbye to my art but the markets are a gentle reminder that it’s still here.
Thank you all who visit my stall, here’s to the next one
