InchArts Exhibition, Altrincham

Dec 8

InchArts is a studio space that is run in Altrincham. They offer great workshops, classes and annual open call exhibition. The open call invites artists of all varieties to take part.

I entered a piece titled ‘The Blue Plate’.The piece is a still life painting done using acrylic and gouache. The piece was created after seeing a Wedgewood Pottery advertisement in a Vogue magazine. I find inspiration from magazines, sometimes online, in books or out and about. Most often I like to document places I have visited, It was only since we were forced to remain inside due to 2020 that I began getting inspiration a bit closer to home.

The exhibition is open until January 2022 so feel free to go an have a look, if you are passing through Altrincham, Manchester.
